Our grenade uses 209 primers or .22 Ramset Cartridges and detonates on impact. It has several safety features like a safety pin or safety switch and a spoon or thumb safety to ensure it only detonates on impact and not in the air or in your hand. Just as loud as the FRAG-C, Quake, TRMR, or other .209 primer grenades. If you have trouble sourcing .209 shotshell primers, you can use .22 ramset cartridges available at your local hardware store!
